Energy Healing

Energy Healing begins with the premise that dis-ease in the body shows up first in our energy field. Through working with the body’s energetic system, areas of stuck physical and emotional tension can be released and healed.

I schedule in-person and distance healings. In-person healings happen in both St. Johnsbury and Hardwick. Distance healings occur via phone or computer.

Appointments last 1 hour and cost $75. I strongly believe that health care is a human right, and therefore nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. If the fee is prohibitive for you, please contact me to find out about sliding scale options.

Energy Healing affects people in a variety of ways. Some of the outcomes include:

• deep relaxation

• easing physical discomfort and chronic pain

• moving stuck energy

• experiencing more body spaciousness and connection

• healing trauma

• manifesting life changes

• connecting to a deeper purpose.

As a client, you can expect that I will hold deep healing space for you. There will be time to express yourself verbally and experience deep listening. Much of your time will be spent on a massage table, receiving the energy work. On a physical level it means lying down for an hour and receiving light touch. On an energetic level it means deepening into your body, allowing energy (and feelings) to move through, and being present with yourself in the moment. The healing is yours, so there will be space for you to release in whatever way is right for you, and allow your energy to move. Healings look many ways for each person; sometimes words are needed, while other times the brain takes a break so the body can do its work. The common thread is that the deeper you sink into your body, the more healing is able to occur.

From the outside, the type of energy work I do can look similar to Reiki. However, it is much different. Reiki is a system of energetic channeling through the use of symbols. The energy healing I do is based on Barbara Brennan’s work. In essence, I am working with the body’s energetic field on a variety of levels; physical, relational, and spiritual. Techniques are wide ranging and can include:

• working with physical tissues

• clearing stuck energy

• working with relationship cords

• nervous system repatterning

• addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and ancestral patterns

*I am also trained in Reiki and use it when applicable. However it’s not the main basis of my energy work.
